—What is MBT?—
This revolutionary sewing thread is created by inserting a [thermally bonded thread] into the center of a three-ply yarn during the twisting process, then applying heat to melt the bonded thread, thereby [successfully bonding the three strands together from the center].
As a result, even when the twist is loosened, the thread tends to return to its original twisted state, much like [shape memory].
Since the twist does not unravel, it is [easy to thread through the needle], and because there is no twist recovery, the [stitching results in a beautiful finish].


—About MBT Glitter—
"Glitter" refers to sparkle and luster.
The luster of this irregular-cross-section yarn gives it a texture distinct from standard dyed yarns.
It is a yarn used for embroidery on Japanese jackets and patches.
It offers excellent luster and decorative appeal.
Thanks to a special bonded finish, it resists twisting and is less prone to skipped stitches.
As it is a solution-dyed yarn, it offers excellent lightfastness and is resistant to discoloration caused by sunlight.
It features high dyeing uniformity, resulting in a beautiful finish.


—About the Wax Coating Process—
We aimed to achieve the optimal balance: [minimizing stickiness] so the wax doesn’t transfer to your hands, while ensuring [no thread slippage (backstitching)] during hand sewing.
Unlike traditional hand-waxing, which only coats the surface of the thread, we melt the wax and allow it to [penetrate all the way to the core of the thread].
Our proprietary wax treatment improves the thread’s cohesion, smoothness, and ease of threading.
It minimizes fuzziness, achieving both ease of sewing and a beautiful finish.
